The Richmond Music Festival voice division will be held on November 17th. Please go to their website www.rmfs.org for details.
Lessons begin again Tuesday September 6th. New students interested in registereing are encouraged to setup a meeting time (see lessons info page) this week to secure a time.
Congratulations to Rubika Subramaniam, Janet Eastwood, Edrysse Sy and Michelle Nguyen who did contemporary voice exams with Conservatory Canada in June. Excellent results for all of you with honours and above.

Studio Recital is booked for Thursday, June 16th at 7 p.m. It will be held at Broadmoor Baptist Church, 8140 Saunders Road, Richmond.
Join us Sunday January 16th at 3:15 p.m. at the Richmond Presbyterian Church for the Richmond Registered Music Teachers Recital. Singers from the studio that will perform are: Julia Wong, Lotem Halevy, Tiffany Choi, Amanda Chalmers and Sheldon Lynn.
Congrats to all who participated in the November 2010 festival. Scholarships were awarded to Hayley Klimovitch and Andrea Aguilar. Hayley Klimovitch also received a plaque in recognition of being chosen the Most Outstanding Intermediate Division singer.
Congratulations to all the students who did exams this year. I’m pleased to report that three students from the studio that did exams this year are being awarded Conservatory Canada Medals for Excellence at the 2010 Fall Convocation Ceremony this November. These medals represent the highest mark in the grade for the Province of BC. Students Darrell Tse will be awarded for Gr. 4 Classical Voice, Samuel Leoganda for Gr. 4 Contemporary Voice and Jackie Tam for Gr. 5 Contemporary Voice.
For those of you registered to compete in the Richmond Music Festival, the schedules are now available at the website www.rmfs.org . The Voice Division will be held on November 5th and 6th. Please ensure that you provide your pianist with a copy of your music to practice with as soon as possible. If you still need a pianist please talk to me about that at your next lesson.
